Sigh.

So last Friday my room mate's boyfriend was held up at gun point in our Joburg flat while I was in Cape Town and my room mate was at the gym.

He's not hurt, thankfully, but the robber trashed our rooms and took all the money I earned at Icon, my mother's engagement ring (heirloom) and one of my birthday vouchers. The money doesn't bug me as much as the birthday voucher, actually. I guess it just sucks having an awesome birthday and then having your gift taken away from you. Also some stranger's paws have been all over my room and belongings.

What kinda bugs me is that everyone is asking "where did you hide the money?". Like... does it matter? If someone breaks in and steals your TV do people ask you where you kept it? 

So yeah, pretty bummed, but life goes on.
